SCUBAPIX INSIGHT: "The Sola 500 is half the size of the competition producing more light than any focus light in its price range. Together with it's simplicity and factory-sealed robustness, the Sola Photo is the new standard in focus lights."

Specifically designed for the DSLR market, the Sola Photo video and focus light is smaller, lighter and longer running than anything in its class. Its wide flood doubles as a general video light for the new class of DSLR camera with video capability.
It is literally half the weight and size of its nearest competitor with better run time, beam pattern and power. It is completely factory sealed and factory depth tested before shipment and has no penetrations through the body. The magnetic tap switch has three white light output levels.
Sola Photo 500 lights have a factory sealed body with no penetrations, so you never need to worry. Control is accomplished through an easy tap magnetic slider on the body.
Slide forward or back to turn on. Hold forward or back for 2 seconds to turn off. Rotate 90° to lock. Three indicator lights behind the bezel report the power and battery status.
Tap the switch forward to cycle through three power settings: 500 high, 250 medium, 125 low
The external charger keeps things simple and fast. Built-in lithium-ion battery is charged through external wet connection charge ports, with gold plated receivers for years of use. You never need to remove the battery and charging is easy and fast on beach or boat.
