Scubapix, what do we do apart from sell cameras..?

Scubapix was founded in 1990 to fill the demand for professional quality souvenir video product in the growing Cairns dive tourism market.

Since those early days we have grown from a one man - one camera operation to now having a full-time staff of 12 video / photo pro’s, a fleet of over 30 housed camera systems ranging from compact 5mp digitals and digital video all the way through to 35mm motion picture equipment.

It is the day in day out routine of using and maintaining our own equipment, that has given our team a unique insight into the needs of the underwater image maker.

We have our imaging staff in the field every day -7 days week shooting video & photo, conducting video and photo course’s at all levels and importantly providing practical support for our customers.

The Scubapix showroom is located conveniently in the city centre and has a full stock of equipment on hand for hire or sale.
