The NA-C50 takes Canon's compact cinema camera underwater — 7K RAW capture and 15+ stops of dynamic range in a notably smaller cine system. Built on Nauticam's N120 port system, it runs both native RF and adapted EF glass, keeps the core controls under your fingers, and ships with vacuum and leak monitoring as standard.

The Canon EOS C50 is a compact full-frame cinema camera built around a newly developed 7K back-illuminated CMOS sensor. It records 3:2 Open Gate up to 4K120 and RAW video up to 7K60, captures 32MP stills in photo mode, and switches easily between the two. Cinema-grade features include Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, dual-base ISO, simultaneous crop recording, and Frame.io Camera-to-Cloud integration.

The Housing
Lens compatibility and the N120 port system
The NA-C50 is built on Nauticam's N120 port system, which accommodates Canon RF and EF lenses alongside Nauticam's full range of ports and in-house corrective optics. A vacuum system reset switch sits beneath the tray, so you don't need to open the housing back during lens or port changes, and a built-in 1/4"-20 cheese plate adds mounting on top.
Worth noting: for EF lenses, the RF-to-EF adapter with variable ND filter can be used with an optional control kit.
Mission Control: every control within reach
True to Nauticam form, essential controls are placed as close to the handles as possible — positioned where your fingers need them rather than simply mirroring the camera's button layout. Dials carry rubberised finger grooves and the levers are tuned for smooth operation, making the housing intuitive to drive throughout a dive.
Internal USB power
The NA-C50 has space inside the housing at its base for a USB power bank to sustain longer recording sessions. The maximum power-bank size is 165 × 76 × 26 mm (W × D × H).
Vacuum check and leak detection — standard
Nauticam's vacuum check and leak detection electronics ship with the NA-C50 as standard. Combined with the optional 25625 M16 Vacuum Valve II, the system continuously reports the housing's watertight, safe-to-dive status through a color-coded LED: solid vacuum, or vacuum loss. Leak detection runs on the same circuit, so any water intrusion triggers an audible and visual alarm.
The system is temperature-compensated, so it won't throw false alarms from a change in water temperature or from the camera heating up on an action-packed dive.
