Nauticam NA-GH6 Underwater Housing
For the Panasonic Lumix GH6 and GH7
The NA-GH6 takes Panasonic's video-first Micro Four Thirds powerhouse underwater — internal 5.7K ProRes, 4K up to 120p and up to 13 stops of dynamic range, with 100MP handheld high-res stills as a bonus. Built on Nauticam's N85 port system with its switchable wet-optics bayonet, it keeps the essentials under your fingers and ships with vacuum and leak monitoring as standard.
Consider the NA-GH6 if you:
- Want a video-first MFT powerhouse — internal 5.7K ProRes, 4K 120p, up to 13 stops of dynamic range
- Mix pro video with 100MP handheld high-resolution stills
- Shoot Micro Four Thirds glass on the N85 system with switchable WWL / CMC wet optics — wide and macro on one dive
- Need reliable safety monitoring for demanding dives

The Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH6
New to the GH6? Here's the context. Already know it well — skip to the housing below.
The GH6 follows the GH5's legacy of bringing high-end video to Micro Four Thirds. A new 25MP CMOS sensor pairs with Panasonic's Venus engine, a CFexpress Type B slot and a built-in cooling fan to capture up to 5.7K video in the edit-friendly ProRes codec, plus 10-bit DCI/UHD 4K up to 120p and HD up to 240/300fps. Dynamic Range Boost combines low- and high-gain sensor readouts for up to 13 stops, and full V-Log maximises latitude for grading. It's not just video, either — a new handheld 100MP high-resolution mode broadens where that feature can be used.

The Housing
Lens compatibility and the N85 port system
The NA-GH6 is built around Nauticam's N85 port system, offering an unparalleled range of lens and port combinations for Micro Four Thirds. Image quality improves further with Nauticam's Water Contact Optics — the WWL-1 and WWL-1B increase field of view, corner sharpness and close-focus while keeping full zoom-through. Using Nauticam's bayonet mount system, these ultra-wide lenses can be switched underwater for the CMC-1 and CMC-2 macro optics — so you get both wide-angle and macro performance on the same dive without compromising image quality.
Mission Control: every control within reach
Designed around Nauticam's Mission Control philosophy, the NA-GH6 places essential exposure and focus controls within easy reach of the handles. A dual thumb lever near the right handle gives easy access to Record and AF-On, and a dual-action lever forward of the right handle triggers the Fn1 and Fn2 buttons.
HDMI output
With an M24 bulkhead and an M10 threaded mount, the NA-GH6 pairs easily with an external monitor or recorder over HDMI 2.0 or 1.4 — and with firmware-promised RAW output up to 4K 120p, the housing is ready to meet that need.
Flash triggering
Rapid-fire manual triggering is available with the 26309 Mini Flash Trigger (shared with the GH5/G9/S1R/S1H housings), through the housing's fiber-optic bulkheads.
Worth noting: the Panasonic DMW-FL70 flash unit is not compatible with the GH6.
Vacuum check and leak detection — standard
The NA-GH6 ships with Nauticam's vacuum check and leak detection electronics pre-installed, requiring only the optional 25624 M14 Vacuum Valve II. The system continuously reports the housing's watertight, safe-to-dive status through a color-coded LED: solid vacuum, or vacuum loss. Leak detection runs on the same circuit, so any water intrusion triggers an audible and visual alarm.
The system is temperature-compensated, so it won't throw false alarms from a change in water temperature or from the camera heating up on an action-packed dive.
