Nauticam NA-OM1 Underwater Housing
For the OM System OM-1 and OM-1 Mark II
The NA-OM1 takes OM System's compact, highly customisable Micro Four Thirds hybrid underwater — a 20MP stacked sensor with up to 120fps shooting, class-leading stabilisation and 4K 60p video — in a small, rugged aluminium housing. Built on Nauticam's N85 port system, it puts the key controls at your fingertips and ships with vacuum and leak monitoring as standard.
Consider the NA-OM1 if you:
- Want a compact, highly customisable MFT hybrid — 20MP stacked sensor, 120fps, strong autofocus
- Value exceptional stabilisation (up to 8EV with compatible lenses) and weather sealing in a small rig
- Shoot Micro Four Thirds glass on the N85 system with Nauticam wet optics (e.g. WWL-1)
- Need reliable safety monitoring for demanding dives

The Camera: OM System OM-1
New to the OM-1? Here's the context. Already know it well — skip to the housing below.
The OM-1 — reviving the "OM" name on its 50th anniversary — is OM System's first high-end Micro Four Thirds body, aimed at the on-the-go pro. A new 20MP quad-pixel AF stacked CMOS sensor pairs with the TruePic X processor for roughly 3× faster processing and up to 120fps electronic-shutter shooting. As a true hybrid it captures 10-bit DCI or UHD 4K up to 60p in OM-Log, HD up to 240fps, and can output ProRes RAW over HDMI to Atomos Ninja V / V+ recorders.
Key camera specifications
- 20MP stacked CMOS sensor
- 1053 X-type AF points
- Up to 120fps with the electronic shutter
- Image stabilization rated to 7EV (up to 8EV with compatible lenses)
- Large 5.76M-dot OLED EVF
- Dual UHS-II SD card slots
- UHD or DCI 4K 60p video; 1080p up to 240fps
- Weather sealing rated to IP53
The Housing
Lens compatibility and the N85 port system
The NA-OM1 is built on Nauticam's N85 port system, with an extensive line of dome and flat ports supporting a wide variety of Micro Four Thirds lenses. For higher image quality and versatility, it pairs with Nauticam's Water Contact Optics — for example, with the Olympus 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ lens, the WWL-1 provides a full zoom-through ultra-wide 130° field of view.
Mission Control: every control within reach
The NA-OM1 places controls where they're needed rather than mirroring the camera's layout. A thumb lever, easily reached from the ergonomic rubberised right handle, actuates AF-On, with a dedicated red Record button close by. This back-button autofocus approach prevents the camera refocusing between shots, giving fine control whether shooting macro or fast-moving wide-angle subjects.
Flash triggering
The OM-1 can be used with the optional Olympus FL-LM3 flash inside the NA-OM1 to provide accurate TTL triggering through the integrated Sea&Sea-style fiber-optic bulkheads. For high-speed manual triggering, the optional Mini Flash Trigger for Olympus (26306) can be used — powered by onboard coin-cell batteries, with thousands of flashes per set. Electrical triggering of legacy wired strobes is possible via an optional Nikonos-style bulkhead.
Magnifying viewfinders
A clear view for fine focus and composition is critical underwater. Nauticam's magnifying viewfinders give a large, clear view of the OM-1's 5.76M-dot OLED EVF, in Angled 45° (32205 or 32213) and Straight 180° (32204 or 32211) formats, each with external dioptric adjustment. When using the Full Frame 32° / 1:1 viewfinders (32211 / 32213) on the NA-OM1, the 32215 viewfinder collar adaptor is required.
Vacuum check and leak detection — standard
Nauticam's vacuum check and leak detection electronics ship with the NA-OM1 as standard. Combined with the optional 25624 M14 Vacuum Valve II, the system continuously reports the housing's watertight, safe-to-dive status through a color-coded LED: solid vacuum, or vacuum loss. Leak detection runs on the same circuit, so any water intrusion triggers an audible and visual alarm.
