Built on the N85 port system, it keeps the key controls intuitive and ships with vacuum and leak monitoring as standard.

The OM-5 Mark II refines a proven formula — a compact, durable, feature-rich Micro Four Thirds body that's genuinely lightweight and travel-friendly. It pairs a 20.4MP Live MOS sensor with the TruePic IX processor, robust 5-axis in-body stabilisation and exceptional weather sealing, and adds USB-C connectivity and the user-friendly menu system from the OM-1 Mark II. For video, two new colour profiles — OM Cinema 1 and OM Cinema 2 — allow a cinematic look without specialised grading.

The Housing
Lens compatibility and the N85 port system
The NA-OM5II is built on Nauticam's N85 port system, with an extensive line of dome and flat ports supporting a wide variety of Micro Four Thirds lenses. For higher image quality and versatility, it pairs with Nauticam's Water Contact Optics — for example, with the Olympus 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ lens, the WWL-1 provides a full zoom-through ultra-wide 130° field of view. An optional 36401 N85-to-N120 port adaptor extends port compatibility.
Mission Control: every control within reach
The NA-OM5II follows Nauticam's Mission Control philosophy with accessible, intuitive control of the critical functions: front and rear dials, Record, AF-On, CP, and an Fn1 / Fn2 lever. Nauticam's port-locking system makes lens changes quick, and a rotary-style housing lock plus lens-release button make battery and card swaps effortless. The housing carries an M10 threaded mounting point and a cold-shoe mount, with optional handles and tray (fitted with strobe mounting balls) available. The optional NA-OM5II LCD window (32222) enables the use of Nauticam Full Frame viewfinders for enhanced viewing.
Flash triggering
For high-speed manual flash triggering, the optional Mini Flash Trigger for Olympus (26306) can be used — powered by onboard coin-cell batteries, with thousands of flashes per set. Electrical triggering of legacy wired strobes is possible via an optional Nikonos-style bulkhead.
Vacuum check and leak detection — standard
Nauticam's vacuum check and leak detection electronics ship with the NA-OM5II as standard. Combined with the optional 25624 M14 Vacuum Valve II, the system continuously reports the housing's watertight, safe-to-dive status through a color-coded LED: solid vacuum, or vacuum loss. Leak detection runs on the same circuit, so any water intrusion triggers an audible and visual alarm.
