The NA-Ultra5 takes SmallHD's brightest, most feature-rich monitor underwater — a 5" display that also drives camera controls for ARRI, RED and Sony cinema cameras. It supports HDMI (1.4 and 2.0), SDI and cross-conversion for surface monitoring, and ships with vacuum and leak monitoring as standard. Cables are selected to match your camera housing.

The Housing
The monitor: SmallHD Ultra 5
The SmallHD Ultra 5 is an ultra-bright 300-nit 10-bit HD display supporting HDMI and SDI input plus cross conversion (HDMI in / SDI out), and — uniquely — camera control for ARRI, RED and Sony cinema cameras. Running PageOS 5, it offers the EL Zone false-colour overlay (using sensor data to show areas above or below 18% grey) alongside focus assist, peaking and waveforms. Camera settings sit at the top and bottom of the screen rather than over the image, and three custom buttons can be programmed to tools or display functions.
Connectivity and camera control
The NA-Ultra5 has two M28 accessory bulkheads at the top and one on the bottom to support cross conversion for surface monitoring. For full camera control, dedicated cable bundles combine SDI, Ethernet and power in a single cable: 16265A (ARRI Mini LF / Alexa 35), 16265R (RED Raptor / XL), and 16265S (Sony Venice II). The housing has 1/4"-20 UNC ×4 mounting points top and bottom, plus M3 ×4 holes for the mounting ball (17958), and supports the SmallHD Micro Battery Plate for V-Mount with SmallRig VB50 Mini V-Mount batteries.
Vacuum check and leak detection — standard
The NA-Ultra5 comes with the M16 Vacuum Valve II (25625) pre-installed alongside Nauticam's vacuum check and leak detection system, giving real-time watertight-status feedback through a multi-colour LED, with leak detection on the same circuit and temperature compensation against false alarms.
