The Nauticam 7" G7 is a self-contained underwater monitor built for professional video and stills — an exceptionally bright 3000-nit 7" display with up to six hours of battery life and a full suite of monitoring tools. It connects to a supported camera or cine housing via Nauticam's HDMI/SDI bulkhead system and comes with a swivel-and-tilt mount.

The Monitor

Brightness, clarity and tools

The G7 delivers a 3000-nit, 1920 × 1200 display that stays clear and vibrant even in direct sunlight, with image-control tools at your fingertips: anamorphic de-squeeze, customisable aspect ratios, false colour, focus assist, focus peaking, histogram, image flip, vector scope, waveform and zebra.

Inputs and outputs

The G7 supports 4K HDMI and 2K SDI inputs as well as SDI output for feeding a surface monitor. Note that HDMI-to-SDI cross conversion is not supported on this model.

Power and mounting

Power comes from four Nitecore NL2160/2160HP (6000mAh) or NL2153/2153HP (5300mAh) batteries (not included; the Nitecore UMS4 four-slot charger is recommended), giving up to six hours at backlight level 5. The included Swivel and Tilt Adjustable Monitor Mount System attaches to the camera or cine housing with two 1/4"-20 UNC screws and adjusts smoothly to any angle.
