Nauticam CMC-2 (Compact Macro Converter 2, ~2.8x Magnification)
The Compact Macro Converter 2 (CMC-2) is a water-contact macro accessory lens for compact and mirrorless cameras, designed to sit alongside the more powerful CMC-1 as a less-powerful option for larger macro subjects that is easier to use. It offers an average magnification of 2.8x with currently supported compact cameras, against the CMC-1's 4.5x.
As a true corrective water-contact optic, the CMC-2 actually improves overall sharpness compared with shooting through a flat port with no accessory lens. It is depth rated to 100m.
The CMC-2 ships with a 67mm threaded lens mount and an included flush-mount adapter ring. It is compatible with the same Nauticam bayonet system as the WWL-1 via the optional bayonet mount adapter, and with flip holders for fast lens changes underwater.
