Nauticam NA-A7CII Underwater Housing
For the Sony α7C II and α7C R
The NA-A7CII takes Sony's ultra-compact full-frame bodies underwater — 33MP (α7C II) or 61MP (α7C R) in the smallest full-frame package — in a lightweight, travel-friendly housing. Built on Nauticam's N100 port system, it puts the key controls at your fingertips and ships with vacuum and leak monitoring as standard.
Consider the NA-A7CII if you:
- Want Sony's ultra-compact full-frame — 33MP (α7C II) or 61MP (α7C R) in the smallest body
- Want a lightweight, travel-friendly rig (1.9 kg housing)
- Shoot Sony FE glass (or EF via adapters) on the N100 system with WWL-1B / WACP-1B optics
- Need reliable safety monitoring for demanding dives

The Camera: Sony α7C II and α7C R
New to these bodies? Here's the context. Already know them well — skip to the housing below.
The α7C II and α7C R are Sony's ultra-compact full-frame bodies — the same diminutive form factor with two different sensors. The α7C II uses a 33MP back-illuminated Exmor R sensor with 4K 4:2:2 10-bit recording up to 60p and 10fps continuous shooting; the α7C R packs the 61MP Exmor R sensor with up to 7-stop stabilisation and 8fps shooting. Both share an XGA OLED EVF with a 120fps display and wide-area 759-point phase-detection autofocus.

The Housing
Lens compatibility and the N100 port system
The NA-A7CII is built around Nauticam's N100 port system. Alongside conventional ports, it pairs with Nauticam's pioneering optical accessories — magnifying viewfinders, super-macro accessory lenses, and the WWL-1B and WACP-1B water-contact wide-angle lenses — to form a complete imaging system. The camera drops in without any control presetting, and port changes are effortless. N100-to-N120 adapters extend port compatibility further.
Mission Control: every control within reach
The NA-A7CII features an integrated handle system that gives excellent control access even with thick gloves, with ideal placement of the shutter release and a thumb lever to actuate AF-On from the right handle. The housing is machined from a solid block of aluminium and hard-anodised against salt-water corrosion, with marine-grade stainless and plastic parts, backed by a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Flash triggering
Reliable rapid-fire manual flash triggering is available using the LED Flash Trigger (26302) — the housing comes fiber-optic ready and accepts the Universal Fiber Optic Cable (26216). Strobes and light arms attach via the included 1" accessory mounting balls. Electrical triggering remains an option for legacy lighting, using an accessory electrical bulkhead (25056).
Vacuum check and leak detection — standard
Nauticam's vacuum check and leak detection electronics ship with the NA-A7CII as standard. Combined with the optional 25624 M14 Vacuum Valve II, the system continuously reports the housing's watertight, safe-to-dive status through a color-coded LED: solid vacuum, or vacuum loss. Leak detection runs on the same circuit, so any water intrusion triggers an audible and visual alarm.
