The NA-ZR is Nauticam's underwater housing for the Nikon ZR — a compact full-frame Z-mount cinema camera developed with RED Digital Cinema, capable of 6K/60p in R3D NE RAW, N-RAW and ProRes RAW. Machined from solid aluminium and depth-rated to 100 m, the NA-ZR puts the camera's key controls under ergonomic handles and builds into Nauticam's N120 port and water-contact optics system.

The Nikon ZR camera

Developed with RED Digital Cinema, the Nikon ZR pairs a partially-stacked 24.5 MP full-frame sensor with the EXPEED 7 processor. It records up to 6K/60p internally in 12-bit R3D NE RAW (over 15 stops of dynamic range), plus N-RAW and ProRes RAW, with 32-bit float audio, dual-base ISO, deep-learning autofocus and a bright 4-inch fully-articulating DCI-P3 touchscreen. A fanless, heat-dissipating body allows long takes.

The NA-ZR housing

Essential controls sit close to the ergonomic handles for an efficient, intuitive setup. The N120 port system takes Nikon Z-mount lenses via a new gear range, and Nauticam's ports and in-house corrective optics extend the NA-ZR's reach. A vacuum-system reset switch beneath the tray means you don't need to open the housing during lens or port changes, and a built-in 1/4-20 cheese plate adds mounting options.

Nikon Z-mount lens support

Designed for Z-mount lenses with newly-released zoom and focus gears. The 22225 N120 FTZ Adaptor ER 25 with Knob adds manual focus for F-mount lenses via the FTZ adapter. See the port chart for full compatibility.

Mission Control ergonomics

Controls are placed where they're needed most — not just near the camera's buttons — with rubberised dials and smooth-operating levers.

Integrated vacuum check & leak detection

Shipped as standard. Paired with an accessory vacuum valve (25625 M16 Vacuum Valve II), a colour-coded LED confirms the housing is sealed and safe to dive, and warns the moment vacuum is lost or water is detected. Temperature-compensated to avoid false alarms.

Flash triggering

Flash triggering on the Nikon ZR in the NA-ZR is available via either optical or electrical triggering.
