The Keldan Video 8XR Ambient takes Keldan's ambient-filter system to its conclusion by building the colour correction into the LED itself. Its LEDs emit a spectrum equivalent to the ambient light at 6 m depth, at almost twice the output of a standard 8XR fitted with an external AF 6 B filter — so artificial and natural light blend seamlessly, with no filter to fit. The same compact, travel-friendly 8X body, wireless RC1 readiness and UN38.3 air-travel battery round it out.

Why the Video 8XR Ambient
Filter-free ambient colour matching
The LEDs emit light at the spectrum equivalent to ambient light at 6 m depth, at a luminous flux almost two times higher than a standard 8XR 20000lm fitted with an external AF 6 B filter — seamless blending of artificial and ambient light with nothing to attach.
Expansive, even beam
A soft 110° in-water beam with natural fall-off blends with existing light without harsh edges or uneven coverage.
Compact, intelligent design
Built for the travelling videographer — the set adds only about 0.87 kg dry and is a manageable 0.33 kg negative in water, easily offset with buoyancy arms.
Travel-ready battery & display
The 99 Wh Li-Ion battery is UN38.3 certified for air transport and protected against over-discharge and short circuit. A rear display shows battery level and remaining runtime at the current power.
