The NA-Z6III brings Nikon's most video-capable compact hybrid underwater — internal 6K 60p N-RAW and 6K 30p ProRes RAW, with the autofocus performance of the Z8 and Z9 in a smaller, lighter package. Built on Nauticam's N120 port system, it runs both Z-mount and F-mount glass, re-routes every essential control to the handles, and ships with vacuum and leak monitoring as standard.

The Nikon Z6III condenses much of what Nikon learned across the Z series into a compact, powerful body. Its standout trick is internal 6K 60p N-RAW and 6K 30p ProRes RAW with no external recorder needed, and it inherits the excellent autofocus of the Z8 and Z9 — a significant step up from the Z6II/Z7II. For stills, a 24.5MP partially-stacked CMOS sensor delivers strong image quality at manageable file sizes, with blackout-free shooting through the EVF.

The Housing
Lens compatibility and the N120 port system
The NA-Z6III is built on Nauticam's N120 port system and accommodates both Z-mount and F-mount lenses. With the housing's compact design, newly released zoom and focus gears drive directly off the main zoom/focus knob on the housing. The 22225 N120 FTZ Adapter ER 25 with Knob also lets you use previous-generation Z-mount zoom/focus gear, along with F-mount lenses and their corresponding gears. Mission Control: every control within reach
In true Nauticam fashion, essential controls sit as close to the handles as possible, positioned where your fingers need them rather than mirroring the camera's button layout. Dials carry rubberised finger grooves and the levers are tuned for smooth operation. Dedicated dual thumb levers cover Playback on the left and AF-On on the right, the left handle also gives quick access to the Zoom Gear, and Zoom In / Zoom Out are mapped near the right handle to speed image review through the EVF.

Vacuum check and leak detection — standard
Nauticam's vacuum check and leak detection electronics ship with the NA-Z6III as standard. Combined with the optional 25625 M16 Vacuum Valve II, the system continuously reports the housing's watertight, safe-to-dive status through a color-coded LED: solid vacuum, or vacuum loss. Leak detection runs on the same circuit, so any water intrusion triggers an audible and visual alarm.
The system is temperature-compensated, so it won't throw false alarms from a change in water temperature or from the camera heating up on an action-packed dive.
