The Canon EOS R6 Mark III is a hybrid built for both photo and video. A new 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor paired with DIGIC X delivers internal 7K 60p RAW recording and up to 40fps stills, while improved Dual Pixel CMOS AF II adds deeper subject detection. Enhanced stabilisation rated up to 8.5 stops and dual CFexpress Type B / UHS-II SD card slots round out a flexible, well-rounded body.

The Housing
Lens compatibility and the N120 port system
The NA-R6III is built on Nauticam's N120 port system, which accommodates both Canon RF and EF lenses, alongside Nauticam's full range of ports and in-house corrective optics. An N120 Port Lock II, rotary housing lock, and dedicated RF-mount lens-release lever make for fast, efficient setup with minimal rig fuss. A vacuum system reset switch sits beneath the tray, so you don't need to open the housing back during lens or port changes.
Worth noting: the housing's top surface adds 1/4"-20, M10 and M5 mounting holes for monitors and lighting, while the base accepts the 25218 Tripod Mounting Ball set.
Mission Control: every control within reach
True to Nauticam form, essential controls are placed as close to the handles as possible — positioned where your fingers need them rather than simply mirroring the camera's button layout. Dials carry rubberised finger grooves and the levers are tuned for smooth operation, making the housing intuitive to drive throughout a dive.
Flash triggering
Flash triggering is available via either optical or electrical paths. Optical triggering uses an optional trigger (the 26305 mini flash trigger or the 26321 TTL flash trigger) with the required 26216 universal optical fibre cable. Electrical triggering is supported through the listed Canon hot-shoe and Nikonos bulkhead options.
Vacuum check and leak detection — standard
Nauticam's vacuum check and leak detection electronics ship with the NA-R6III as standard. Combined with the optional 25625 M16 Vacuum Valve II, the system continuously reports the housing's watertight, safe-to-dive status through a color-coded LED: solid vacuum, or vacuum loss. Leak detection runs on the same circuit, so any water intrusion triggers an audible and visual alarm.
The system is temperature-compensated, so it won't throw false alarms from a change in water temperature or from the camera heating up on an action-packed dive.
